FISH PACKER 🐟

Position Overview:

The fish packer is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner. The team member is expected to intake sport fish, assist our fish processors in packing the sport caught fish, racking the fish in the freezer and keeping the orders organized while maintaining a clean work area, and actively contribute to a positive team environment. 

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Vacuum-pack the cut fish, insuring the orders stay organized

  • Organize the processed fish in the freezer

  • Help with sportfish processing intake and pick up

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and with team members in a positive and fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely

  • Must have a valid SIN

  • Must have local housing, no staff accommodation available

Full Time

Start Date: Mid-May to early June

Seasonal

Must have housing in the area, we do not have staff accommodation available

Hours: 1pm - 9pm, subject to change

Wage: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience

FISH PROCESSOR 🐟

Position Overview:

The fish processor is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner. The team member is expected to cut sport fish according to customer requirements, keep the orders organized while maintaining a clean work area, and actively contribute to a positive team environment. 

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Cut different species of fish (salmon, lingcod, halibut, rockfish, etc) in fillet or portions, according to customer requirements

  • Vacuum-pack the cut fish, insuring the orders stay organized

  • Organize the processed fish in the freezer

  • Help with sportfish processing intake and pick up

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives.

RETAIL ASSOCIATE  🐟

Position Overview:

The retail associate is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties in a professional, responsible, accurate, and timely manner. The team member is expected to deliver exceptional customer service, be knowledgeable about our products, and actively contribute to a positive team environment. 

Job tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service in our store front

  • welcoming customers

  • assessing their needs and providing recommendations

  • answering questions in person, via phone, text messages, and email

  • Promote products and services

  • Handling cash

  • Handle and prepare seafood products

  • Help with sportfish processing intake and pick up

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and with team members in a positive and fast-paced environment

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely

  • Must have a valid SIN

  • Must have local (Tofino/Ukee) accommodation. No staff accommodation available.

Full Time, must be available to work week-ends

Start Date: Mid-May to early June

Seasonal

Must have housing in the area, we do not have staff accommodation available

Hours: 10:30am - 6:30pm, subject to change

Wage: $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience
