Our hand-harvested Bull Kelp goes right from the dock to the drying room where it is carefully air-dried in-house to maintain quality and flavour.
The crunchy, salty result is our Classic Kelp, offering a unique taste that will add the perfect balance of fresh, salty umami to any dish while delivering an added boost of nutrients. Classic Kelp Flakes will add delicious texture and taste to any meal.

Using a spoon (or fingers) sprinkle kelp flakes onto all your favourite dishes to finsih them off with a boost of umami and a little crunch. Best added as a final ingredient just before eating. Do you add salt to this product?
Nope! While we rinse the sea water off all of our kelp, there is naturally occuring salts within the kelp itself that remain once dried, adding to the natural saltiness of the flakes.
What is the shelf life of this product?
If stored correctly, product will last up two years.
